These easy smoothie recipes will get your day off to a delicious and healthy start. They are all low in cholesterol and low in fat too.
Blueberry Boost Smoothie
I adore this smoothie. The blueberry flavour is just perfect.
¾ cup/175mls of low fat milk
½ cup/125mls of low fat plain yoghurt
1 cup/100g of frozen blueberries
Half an average sized banana
Honey or agave syrup to taste (This is optional)
Simply mix all of the ingredients together using a food processor or blender and serve.
1 cup/100g of strawberries
2 soft kiwi fruit
1 cup plain yogurt
¼ cup/60mls of orange juice
Agave syrup or honey to taste
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender or smoothie maker and purée until smooth. Depending on how sweet your fruit is, this one might need a little more sweetenener.
1 cup frozen mixed berries
½ cup/125 mls of plain yogurt
½ cup/125mls of pomegranate juice
agave syrup or honey to taste
Blend everything together until smooth.
